India’s bowlers kept Bangladesh pinned after which Virat Kohli’s 48th ODI century took them to yet another dominant win.

Virat Kohli scored his 48th ODI century and hit the winning runs for India with a six as the hosts recorded a dominant 7-wicket win over Bangladesh to make it four wins out of four matches in the 2023 World Cup. (REUTERS)

Bangladesh chose to bat first and got off to a good start, with openers Litton Das and Tanzid Hassan putting up a stand of 93 runs. The stand was eventually broken by Kuldeep Yadav and India took control after that. (ANI )

Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj took two wickets each while Shardul Thakur and Kuldeep Yadav, who broke the strong opening stand, got one each. (BCCI Twitter)

Mahmudullah then led a late recovery from Bangladesh. He fell on 46 off 36 to a searing yorker from Bumrah. (ANI )
